Winner World Superyacht Awards 2017 <\/strong>
A heavily neglected ocean tug with heaviest ice class has been converted into the expedition superyacht with harmonious lines Legend. It is fully optimized to travel as a charter vessel with guests to the most extreme regions of the world. Legend has become hugely successful and famous in s short time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My role<\/strong>
My personal role was that I dared to enter into a relationship with a client who thinks and works very differently than other people. I saw the opportunity to turn a heavily neglected and worn out ship into a beauty. Despite the major challenges during the project I always remained positive and seeking towards a solution that would benefit all parties.<\/em>

International\u00a0 Yacht Aviation Award 2013<\/strong>
Thanks to our continuous search for innovation this very special concept is developed, well before the negative bow shape became commonplace. We were ahead of our time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My role<\/strong>
My personal role was that I am always looking for opportunities to innovate and grabbed the opportunity to gain a lot of publicity with this concept. The award was for the design, but unfortunately this project has not yet been realized.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalist World Super Yacht Awards 2011<\/strong>
M\/Y Baton Rouge was proof of the success of the innovative approach we propagated with ICON and the ultimate proof that on a standard platform there is plenty of room for flexibility in design. On the same hull and waterline 20% more inside volume and 25% more outside deck area! We were proud of this nomination because it proved that our quality could equal the quality of the established builders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My role<\/strong>
My personal role was that in this very challenging project I always looked for ways to \u2018make the impossible possible\u2019. In spite of a very demanding client and his designer, we always found a solution. During the difficult business climate during the credit crisis I kept communication with the client, his team and all suppliers clear, positive and transparent and as a result the yacht was delivered with enormous pride an enthusiasm<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
